Raw conversations real breakthroughs
You’re holding it together… but just barely.
And you’re exhausted from pretending you’re fine.
Virtual therapy across Michigan, helping high-achieving teens, overwhelmed adults, and couples break out of burnout, anxiety, and disconnection.
If this sounds like you… You’re in the right place.
You look like you have it together, but internally, you’re overwhelmed.
You overthink everything and can’t shut your mind off
You feel constant pressure to perform (in school, sports, work, or your relationship).
You’re burned out, exhausted, and running on empty.
You and your partner keep having the same argumentswith no real resolution
You’re tired of just “coping” and actually want things to change.
At Unfiltered Healing Therapy, we skip the surface-level conversations.
This is real therapy. where we get honest about what’s not working, break down patterns, and actually move forward.
What’s really going on…
This isn’t just stress; it shows up differently depending on where you are in life.
Teens are often carrying pressure that most people don’t fully see. School, sports, expectations… and the constant feeling of needing to perform. On the outside, they’re “fine,” but internally, it’s overwhelm, anxiety, and overthinking.
Adults are often stuck in high-functioning burnout. Getting everything done, showing up for everyone else, but running on empty, mentally exhausted, and stuck in their own head.
And in relationships, it shows up as disconnection. The same arguments. The same patterns. Trying to communicate, but still not feeling heard or understood.
Different situations. Same experience underneath it all.
And most people try to push through it alone for a long time.
Until it stops working.

Group Therapy (Coming Soon)
My approach
I’m not a nod-and-smile therapist.
I don’t just listen, I help you understand what’s actually driving the patterns you keep repeating, whether that’s showing up in your own anxiety, your teen’s stress, or your relationship.
In sessions, we’ll work on things like:
Breaking cycles that keep showing up in your life, your teen’s experience, or your relationship.
Learning how to communicate in a way that actually lands and creates change.
Building coping tools that work in real life, not just in theory.
This is a space for honesty and real change.
You’ll feel supported, but you won’t stay stuck.
I’m kind and supportive, but I’m not passive.
I’ll help you see what’s going on beneath the surface and gently challenge the patterns that are keeping you stuck.

Vickie Clouse, SSW, LMSW-C
I’m Vickie, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I’ve been working in the mental health field since 2018, and I currently serve as a high school social worker in addition to running my private practice.
A lot of the people I work with are carrying more than they let on, teens under pressure, adults dealing with burnout and anxiety, and couples feeling stuck in the same cycles.
My approach is supportive, honest, and collaborative. I’ll meet you where you are, but I’ll also help you look at what’s keeping you stuck so real change can happen.
In sessions, I use a blend of:
CBT, DBT skills, mindfulness, and solution-focused strategies, always tailored to you, not a one-size-fits-all approach.I’m not here just to listen and nod.
I’m here to help you understand what’s happening, shift patterns, and move forward in a way that actually feels different in your life.If you’re feeling overwhelmed or stuck, you don’t have to work through it alone. I’d be honored to support you in that process.
